The company was set up in 1995 by its present three directors,
who all brought a different range of experience into the equation.
Gordon Bendall came
from a background of senior posts in Local Government Leisure Departments
and the successful formation
and running of Bendcrete Climbing Walls, an internationally renowned
indoor climbing wall company. He has now expanded those activities
into the formation of an innovative skate park arm of the company.
Peter Debbage also had a long career in senior posts
in Local Government landscape design departments before he took his
acquired specialist knowledge of children's play area design into the
private sector. This expertise, combined with a long leisure-time
dedication to climbing, resulted in the ensuing partnership with
Bendcrete Climbing Walls to produce our unique simulated rock
product
Playrock. He is now responsible for all design and marketing
activities of the company.
Joe Watson took over the running of the thirty year
old family landscape business, Cotswold Estate Services Limited, in
the
early nineties, after a background in mechanical engineering including
a Cambridge degree. He is now responsible for the contract management
of Venturplay projects, which are largely built by the Cotswold Estate
Services manpower. |
